Voice.GradientFlow is a builder for AI voice agents. You describe the agent you want, or start from a template. The builder lays it out on a canvas. You talk to it in the Playground. When it sounds right, you publish it and share a link or put it on a phone number. You do not need to write code. Settings have plain-language labels, and most have a short help line underneath.

Key concepts

Persona

Who the agent is. Its name, personality, language, voice and the model it thinks with. Every agent has exactly one Persona.

Skill

What the agent does in one phase of the call, such as greeting the caller, collecting details or booking a slot. An agent has one or more Skills. The agent moves between them as the conversation needs.

Tools

Things the agent can do during the call: check a calendar, look up a customer, send a text, search the web, hand the call to a person. Connect a tool to the Persona so every Skill can use it, or to one Skill only.

After the call

Steps that run once the call ends: summarize it, pull out structured data, create a ticket, update the CRM, or post everything to a webhook (Zapier and Make included). They connect after the End node.
Two more words you will see:
  • End is the node that hangs up. A call only ends when the conversation reaches an End node. Put one at the end of every path.
  • Branches decide where the conversation goes next. If/Else checks one condition. Categorize sorts the caller’s request into categories you name.

How a call runs

  1. The caller connects, by share link, embedded page or phone number.
  2. The agent speaks the greeting from the first Skill and follows that Skill’s instruction.
  3. When a Skill is done, the agent moves to the next Skill, or takes a branch.
  4. Tools run when the agent needs them, for example to check availability.
  5. The conversation reaches End. The agent says goodbye and hangs up.
  6. After-the-call steps run and deliver summaries, data or tickets.

Who it is for

  • Business owners and operations teams who want a receptionist, scheduler or support line without hiring an engineer.
  • Product and support teams who need to change what the agent says and test it the same minute.
  • Operators who run Voice.GradientFlow for a workspace. The Self-hosting section is for you.

What can you build?

The template gallery on the empty canvas covers common starting points: Clinic scheduling, Billing dispute, E-commerce orders, Real-estate leads, Bank card fraud, IT helpdesk, Roadside emergency, SaaS knowledge Q&A, Feedback survey, Insurance handoff. Each template is a complete agent you can test right away and then change.
